Hi, I'm Hana.

Hana was born in Norway to parents who fled the war in Yugoslavia in the early nineties. Watching them build a whole life from nothing laid the foundation for her drive: at 21, midway through her bachelor in economics and with an exchange at UC Berkeley, she started her first profitable company.

The founder life continued into her master in innovation and leadership: together with Michelle Sæther she won StudentIdé 2018 with the idea that became Svippin, and their thesis on the concept won the innovation award at HVL. After Gründerskolen in Houston they went all in back home in Bergen, and when the pandemic hit they turned the consumer app into the technology agency Link Utvikling. Today the company delivers for clients such as Visma, TV 2, the City of Bergen and Norsk Gjenvinning, partners closely with NAV on workplace inclusion, has been awarded NOK 6 million by the Research Council of Norway and was an ODA Awards finalist alongside IBM and Schneider Electric.

Today Hana has sold two companies, invested in more than 20 startups and holds board positions across technology, culture, tourism and real estate. As a founding partner of Atlas Accelerator and partner at First Tuesday Bergen she helps the next generation of founders forward, and from stages across Norway she shares what she has learned. The drive is the same as when she was 21: showing that background does not decide how far you can go, and getting more people to dare to bet on themselves.
